Christy Carter is a leader in Boston Consulting Group’s Principal Investors and Private Equity Practice in North America. She has nearly 20 years of experience in and deep knowledge of PE markets and transactions across sectors. She has particularly deep knowledge of consumer products and services, residential services and business services sectors, with experience across the lifecycle of these deals. She focuses on buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as portfolio acceleration, M&A strategy, and investment themes. Christy is also the client officer for several mid market and scale PE firms, and she has extensive experience as a trusted buy-side and M&A strategy advisor to private equity firms and corporations across a wide variety of sectors.

Prior to joining BCG, Christy spent five years as an investor executing transactions and overseeing a portfolio at CCMP Capital, a $3.6 billion private equity fund. Prior to that, she worked at Bain & Company for seven years, where she focused on private equity due diligence as well as corporate growth strategy.
